"Newborn nurses helped me at the time I needed it most. I was having serious problems with breastfeeding and Maureen came to our rescue. She helped me latch Salvi at least a dozen times. With her help Salvi and I finally got the swing of things and have been getting along great ever since. Thank you Newborn nurses for helping us make our transition back home from the hospital peaceful and enjoyable."

What are parents saying about us?

Maureen, thank you so much for everything you did for me, Shawn and Eleanor. Other than Eleanor's arrival, Newborn Nurses was the best thing to happen to us! We loved everyone who came to care for Eleanor and we shall miss seeing everyone. (Maureen, Joanne, Vicki, Sharon) Not only did we feel comfort from you and your staff but we also felt such incredible kindness and capability. Thanks you for all your advice and suggestions regarding breastfeeding and babycare. It has truly been a pleasure getting to know you and I hope our paths will cross again.

"I just wanted to tell you that Amy's visit yesterday was a life saver!  Honestly, I just started balling when I opened the door and saw her.  I was completely frazzled and really going down the wrong path by answering every fussy moment with breastfeeding. I thought that every little noise meant he was hungry.  So, he was eating (but not really eating) every hour and it was completely wearing me down.  Amy was great.  She explained that I should feed every 3 hours to keep my sanity and my body in tact, and to ensure that he is actually hungry when he feeds.  She also gave me so many other tips and good  advice. I also was able to take a nap! In fact, just the simple act of her telling me that he looks healthy was incredibly reassuring.  Today was a MUCH better day.  I now know how to differentiate a fussy cry from a hungry cry and I know how to soothe him between feedings -- a huge breakthrough!!  Today he has been sleeping because he actually seems satisfied between meals and I have been able to put him down - take a nap - and clean up my house!  Amazing!  Thank you so much for everything.  I am looking forward to Pam coming tomorrow night to set us straight on a night time routine too.  I think it will be great.  I also hope to have Amy back for a few visits after next week.  Thanks again for everything.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!"

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience with Newborn Nurses that we have recommended it to all of our friends that are new parents. Carole came to our house 2 weeks after we had our daughter - she showed us the best way to bathe the baby, swaddling techniques, soothing ideas, breastfeeding tips, etc. It was basically a Newborn 101 and even though we had taken classes at the hospital, having someone in your house makes a world of a difference. If you are a new parent and want a professional to come to your house and answer your questions, give you tips, make you feel more comfortable with a baby Newborn Nurses is the service to call. I can't say enough about it!

I am so grateful to newborn nurses for the support and care they offered both myself and my baby when we returned home from the hospital. I had planned to use their help for a few weeks and ended up using them for a few months! the help with breastfeeding was wonderful as well as the fact that they were available at all times to help me with any questions or issues I had - which were quite a few as i am a first time mom. I would highly recommend newborn nurses and have already.

Carole was our labor & delivery and newborn care instructor at Isis. We adored her so much that we thought who better to trust when we first arrive home with our new son than Carole?!!?!? She visited us 2 days after arriving home from the hospital and proved our theory right. She assisted with his first bath at home, swaddling, latching on, sleeping suggestions - I could just go on and on. In fact, I was so pleased with her services that I have since given a Newborn Nurse home visit to 2 of my friends for their shower gift! Other guests at the showers were blown away with this idea and raved about how thoughtful and practical this gift certificate is. I will continue to give Carole's services as baby gifts to friends in the area. I can't speak highly enough of Newborn Nurses!

I had contacted Newborn Nurses after going (facility omitted) for a LC. The woman at (facility omitted) told me that my baby basically would not breastfeed, I was devastated. A friend of mine referred me to Newborn Nurses because they had helped her. Carole came to my house and within minutes had my baby breastfeeding like a champ. He has continued to be an excellent eater (in the 90% for weight!) She was extremely professional and knew exactly what she was doing. I cannot say enough about how greatful I am to her. If you are having any breastfeeding issues- please call them.
